The Semiconductor Industry – From a grain of sand technology emerges

Virtual Event Virtual Event

March 20, 2021 @ 6:00 PM 7:30 PM GMT

The world is now going through the Fourth Industrial Revolution which is transforming our lives by digitising all sectors from education to health, transport, banking and others. We have recently witnessed a strong trend towards automation manifesting itself in robotics, AI, machine learning, super-fast mobile networks and self-driving cars to name a few. The underlying technology that facilitates all this, is advanced micro electronics and programming. It is this fusion of both sectors in one industry that is somewhat still a mystery for the vast majority of people. The focus of this webinar is on the semiconductor industry, how it has evolved over the last few decades, where it is now and how big the future opportunities are.

This technology starts from a grain of sand and finishes in the transistor!
