AGM 2025

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Al-Kindi Society of Engineers, we are honoured to invite you to attend the Society’s anniversary symposium, to be held on Saturday, 8 November 2025, at Dar Al-Salam Hall in London.

The event will coincide with an Annual General Meeting, which will be held as an information meeting for members only. No resolutions will be proposed or voted on.

The programme will include a presentation on the Society’s journey since its establishment, highlighting the key conferences, activities, and initiatives it has organised in the United Kingdom and Iraq over the past thirty years. The symposium will also include a discussion of the challenges facing the Society and other civil society organisations operating in the UK, as well as ways to develop and improve services for members and the wider community.

The event will take place ahead of the 2026 AGM, giving the current leadership an opportunity to consult members, gather views and opinions, and help shape the Society’s future direction.

The invitation to the symposium is open to both members and non-members.

نــدوة الكنــدي: 30 عاماً من العطاء

بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية الثلاثين لتأسيس جمعية الكندي للمهندسين، نتشرف بدعوتكم لحضور ندوة الجمعية، التي ستُعقد يوم السبت الموافق 8 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2025، في قاعة دار السلام في لندن.

وسيتزامن هذا الحدث مع الاجتماع العام السنوي للجمعية، والذي سيُعقد بصفته اجتماعاً إعلامياً للأعضاء فقط، دون طرح أي قرارات أو التصويت عليها.

يتضمن برنامج الندوة عرضاً لمسيرة الجمعية منذ تأسيسها، مع تسليط الضوء على أهم المؤتمرات والأنشطة والمبادرات التي نظمتها في المملكة المتحدة والعراق على مدى الثلاثين عاماً الماضية. كما ستتضمن الندوة مناقشة التحديات التي تواجه عمل الجمعية وغيرها من منظمات المجتمع المدني العاملة في المملكة المتحدة، إضافةً إلى بحث سبل تطوير الخدمات المقدمة للأعضاء والجالية على نحو أفضل.

وتأتي هذه الفعالية قبل الاجتماع العام السنوي لعام 2026، لإتاحة الفرصة للقيادة الحالية للتشاور مع الأعضاء، والاستماع إلى آرائهم ومقترحاتهم، بما يسهم في رسم التوجهات المستقبلية للجمعية.
