Muther Al-Mufty

Muther Al-Mufty graduated from Baghdad College high school and later completed his Mechanical Engineering degree in 1994 from University of Technology, Baghdad. In UK he completed his masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Surrey University in 1996. Muther is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) with over twenty years of experience in managing complex projects in various sectors. Currently working with Wood Group, a Senior Oil & Gas Consultant and Bid Manager delivering high quality engineering solutions to the upstream and downstream oil infrastructure projects. Previously worked at Bechtel Oil & Gas, Black & Veatch, Ferrovial and Costain, leading engineering teams to produce bids in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Water, Waste Water, Utilities, Mining & Metals and Energy from Waste projects. Muther's main interest is in conceptual studies and problem solving and the ability to workout conceptual solutions to complex engineering projects by conducting engineering and economical studies. He acquired his skills by gaining exposure to leading world class contractors and consultants which enabled him to produce high quality solutions for either raising investment or lump sum bids to deliver projects. Muther has been heavily involved in major Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East including Ruwais Refinery (ADNOC), West Nile Delta Gas Plant (BP Egypt), Jafurah Shale Gas (Saudi Aramco), Duqm Petrochemical Complex (Oman), Thairir Petrochemical Comlpex (Egypt). Muther has also more than 15 years experience in the UK Water industry, working with top tier consultant and construction companies, involved in delivering more than 25 billion worth of investment.
