Eng. Mohammad Taher receives Al-Kindi commendation for creativity
Al-Kindi’s President Mr Usama Mohammad was pleased to meet Mohammad Taher (Graduate Engineer at Heathrow Airport), on 27 October 2020, to present him with a commendation for creativity.
This was in recognition of Mohammad’s creative work on Heathrow Airport’s baggage conveyor belt system where he planned, developed and delivered an optimised ‘baggage toppler’ structure. This saved the operations network crucial time, avoided unnecessary disruption and improved customer experience.
Mohammad graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Aerospace Engineering from Brunel University in 2018. He is a STEM advocate and hopes to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators. He was featured on ITV’s Heathrow: Britain’s Busiest Airport in Autumn 2020.
Our President, Usama Mohamad said:
I was really pleased to visit Mohammad in Terminal 2 and present him with the recognition he rightly deserves. Mohammad is a great young man and an enthusiastic engineer who takes real pride in his work and is pleased he can make a real difference to the airport’s operations and improved customer experience.
